The Month Ahead

The State Champion Salute parade continues on, with our most recent update highlighting the state title chases in Iowa, Ohio, and Texas, with more championship recaps still to come.

After a sensational 2023 season, we kick December off with our finalists for, as well as our selections for High School Team of the Year, and Head Coach of the Year!

The final installment of the Top 100 Player Rankings for the 2023 year touches down, updating the rankings on the heels of an outstanding fall season.  

The Fall Star Award is divided by graduating class, and allows coaches to nominate players who were strong standouts in their state and classification, but may not garner the national attention as those states or classifications that are bigger or who are more recognized within the sport. Fall Star selections will be released by graduation year throughout the month. Nominations Close: 12/1/23

The PrepVolleyball.com High School All-Region Award selection is for those players who may not have the opportunity to see consistent national-level competition but are standout performers for their specific geographic region of the country. High School All-Region honors will be announced throughout the month. Nominations Close: 12/8/23

The Andi Collins Award is presented in recognition of the nation’s most outstanding senior setter, in honor of the late Mater Dei High School (CA) setter, Andi Collins, who succumbed to a battle with cancer in September of her senior year. This award is one of our most special distinctions and recognizes the nation's most outstanding setter from over the course of the fall season. Nominations Close: 12/22/23

The PrepVolleyball.com High School All-American Award selection is the pinnacle of high school volleyball awards, reserved for those players who have stood out, and risen above the rest of the competition via statistical impact, as well as team success on a national level.
NOTE: Nominees For The All-American Award May Also Be Considered For National Player Of The Year. Nominations Close: 12/22/23

New changes are coming to Prep, and they're centered around the incredible student athletes we have the privilege of providing coverage for. Our player profiles are free for student athletes to create, update, and curate space to highlight their budding athletic careers. Connect with your club and high school teammates, prospective collegiate recruiters, and team supporters with all of your student-athletes' athletic, and academic information, along with a myriad of social media connectivity, and interfacing, baked directly into new PVB content.

As we continue to implement new features, we appreciate your patience as we iron out the wrinkles!
