Taking In The Sights
Friday saw the Boilermakers depart the Czech Republic. The team stopped over in Vienna, Austria, for six hours of shopping and sightseeing before continuing on to Maribor, Slovenia, which will be the Purdue headquarters for the next two days.

Ohio Volleyball Team Visits Local School
The Ohio volleyball team took time out of its busy spring schedule Thursday afternoon to visit an afterschool program at Chauncey Elementary School. The young students had a chance to interact with the Bobcat players as the class participated in different games and sports activities with the team.

Twenty-three student athletes will graduate on Saturday
Among the graduates at commencement exercises for McNeese State on Saturday will be 23 student athletes.
This will give the Cowboys and Cowgirls a total of 30 graduates during the 2007-08 school year as seven of them graduated last December and then completed their athletic eligibility this spring.

After another early-morning wake-up call today, we were ready for a full day of sightseeing to the Temple of Heaven, a silk-carpet factory, a Kung Fu show and a trip to the famous Silk Street. The Chinese call it "the fake market", but who knows the difference between a real coach purse and a fake one? I sure don't.

LSSU volleyball team picks up four players during spring signing period
The Lake Superior State volleyball team picked up four players during the spring signing period and expanded its 2008 recruiting class to six.

To Brno We Go
Thursday saw the team depart Prague after a four-day stay. After a little more than two hours on a bus, the Boilermakers arrived in Brno where they would spend the day and face their next competition.

2008 Kansas Volleyball Schedule Released
University of Kansas head volleyball coach Ray Bechard announced Thursday another challenging schedule for the Jayhawks in 2008. KU will open the 2008 season in Richmond, Va., for the Virginia Commonwealth Tournament, Aug. 29-30, and play a total of nine non-conference contests before Big 12 play begins Sept. 17 at Colorado.
